Biography 简介

Originally from the enchanting Borneo Sabah Malaysia, Tommy has lived in London for more than 20 years.

Tommy studied at the University of West London where he gained a BMus (Hons) in Contemporary Vocal Performance. He thrives teaching both one-to-one and in group scenarios.

He taught at the Institute Contemporary Music Performance (ICMP) for over 8 years. His unique diversity background is not only evident in his ability as a musician, but also in his ability to pick up languages. He is fluent in English, Mandarin, Cantonese, Hakka, and has sung in Bahasa, Bengali, Spanish and more.

Over his diverse career, Tommy has built an admirable reputation on the London and international music scene singing and sharing the stage with many established artists including Damon Albarn (Blur, and Gorillaz), Alexandra Burke (Winner of X-Factor UK), Asian superstars - Leehom Wang and Gary Chaw. He has regularly appeared on television shows like BBC1 Michael McIntyre’s Big Show, ITV The Last Leg, X-Factor, along with radio sessions such as BBC 4 Woman’s Hour and Broadcasting House. Most recently on December 2020 Tommy as part of a collective of session vocalists performing on live stream events for RedBull TV, and TikTok Europe Awards Ceremony.
